Dayne's Earring Organizer

I never really thought that the sweet little girl I used to dress up with colorful clothing, cute froufrou outfits with large ribbons and laces ( as in walang reklamo, suot lang ng suot! ) will suddenly turn into a young teenage girl. I guess I should prepare myself in handling teenage mood swings and just allow myself to have fun in raising a teenager.

Recently, Dayne became fascinated with feather earrings so we have decided to make an earring organizer. She loves the bohemian look!

To make an earring holder you will need the following:

- a used picture frame, size depending on your choice ( We used an old frame of a canvas print with a stand instead of disposing them.)
- hot melt adhesive ( Since we don't own a glue gun, we turned on the gas stove to medium heat to melt the glue. - Dayne's brilliant idea! )
- plastic or wire mesh ( you can find them at thrift stores or home depot )
- scissors ( you will need a metal cutter if you decided to use aluminum or wire mesh )
- ribbons (optional ) We just wrapped its edges with ribbon to eliminate its sharp and rough surface.

She prefers a purple ribbon but we don't want to waste another dollar for it.

Dayne's new earring holder! She deserves a chocolate smoothie for helping me, don't you think?

Thanks to DIY projects, we were able to overcome the winter blahs.

No matter how much we don't understand God's ways or how long we wait for His answer, let's keep on believing and hoping that God will see us through. God's promises will never be broken.- Didache, 28 February
