Pink

One month ago, my daughter asked me to help her find a graduation dress. As a new immigrant, I've learned to jump into a more reasonable shopping strategy. I've learned to ignore the bombarding sale opportunities from the malls nearby.  The excitement of finding a 70% off signage has completely disappeared. At last!
So I told my daughter the allowed budget for her graduation outfit and she fully accepted. We can't afford lavish spending!
I want her to wear something that will show elegance and grace while keeping the radiance of her youthfulness. I also told her not to wear white because it'll just be so common in a graduation day. Same thing as not to wear black in a prom night. I've learned this from a fellow blogger.

Here's what we found at Metrotown:
Lace dress from Urban Planet - $19
Pink belt from Urban planet - $6
A considerably cheap pink pumps from Call it Spring

I was so happy to see her frolicking in her graduation dress. She's so grown up!

I'd like to congratulate these graduates! Get ready to venture into a more complicated yet thrilling high school life! Best of luck!

It was nice meeting you, Alysha and Sammi.

Indeed, ask and we shall receive. It may not be how we want it or when we want it. But for sure it's for the greater good that only God knows. - Didache, October 6, 2011
